Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA”), California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information.
Backlinkster does not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the CCPA.
What this means
We do not exchange your personal information for money or for other valuable consideration. We do not disclose your personal information to third parties for the purpose of targeted advertising based on activity across non-affiliated websites or services.
We do share information with service providers (such as our hosting, payment processing, and email infrastructure providers) who are contractually restricted to using that information solely to perform services on our behalf. Disclosures of that kind are not considered “sales” or “sharing” under the CCPA.
Exercising your CCPA rights
California residents may exercise the following rights:
- Right to know. Request details of the personal information we have collected about you, including categories, sources, purposes, and recipients.
- Right to delete. Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct. Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out. Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (already covered — we do not do this).
- Right to limit use of sensitive PI. Limit our use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the Service.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
How to submit a request
Email legal@backlinkster.com with your request. Include the email address associated with your account so we can verify your identity, and clearly state which right you wish to exercise. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally within 45 days of receipt, with one 45-day extension available if reasonably necessary).
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written authorization signed by you, and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us before fulfilling the request.
